The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC), with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will be offering 12 to 15-year-olds the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at the MCAT vaccination site starting May 14, 2021.

Northern Marianas College nursing alumna Joy Lacorte recently received her Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice, or DNAP, from AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida in April of this year.

Maria Dizon, a Northern Marianas College alumna, was recently awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Leadership from Oregon Health and Science University’s School of Public Health. 

On May 7, 2021, the Northern Marianas College Board of Regents unanimously voted to offer the position of NMC President to Dr. Galvin Sablan Deleon Guerrero. The next step in the presidential search process will be the negotiation of the terms of the contract and the identification of an official start date.

LONG-TIME local educator Galvin S. Deleon Guerrero has accepted the presidency of Northern Marianas College.
