Some of the careers that are related to this degree are: caseworker; social services program eligibility worker; youth worker, etc. The primary career objective of this degree serves as a portal of entry into procuring a BSW degree in Social Work. Currently, the AA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social Work transfers into the BSW Program at Alaska at Fairbanks. Students can enroll into this undergraduate degree program and complete their BSW degree via online courses and pay Alaskan in-state tuition rates while remaining here upon the island.
