Our programs focus on the helping professions aimed at building better communities one student, one person and one family at a time. Through high-impact, hands-on learning experiences, we create opportunities for our students to excel and thrive. The teacher education program and Rehabilitation & Human Services at Northern Marianas College prepares outstanding professional educators and counselors who make a difference within the community they serve. We see educators and counselors as teachers, leaders, and advocates in service. Our students gain not only the professional knowledge they will need in the classroom or counseling center, but also the skills needed to help their students or clients reach their full potential and utilize that potential. In doing so, they open doors of opportunity for future generations - the true calling of every teacher and counselor.
