Mission
The Environmental Natural Resources Organization (ENRO) encourages environmental stewardship by promoting student awareness and involvement in our community, collaborating with various agencies/organizations, and advocating for sustainable practices.
History
The ENRO Club was founded in 2010 by Dr. Alfredo B. De Torres based on his experience in volunteerism and outreach community works at the University of the Philippines where he served as a faculty member.
On March 2013, ENRO Club was a recipient of the “Group Volunteer National Earth Team Award” with a “Trophy and Plaque” handed out by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resource Conservation Office outperforming other environmental organizations throughout the nation in winning the award. The ENRO Club was also awarded various recognitions and certificates of appreciation from their outreach community engagements in the CNMI government and non-government organizations (NGOs).
The NRM major students, as well as the other NMC students are encouraged to join the ENRO Club for exceptional voluntary activities
