In its effort to advance post secondary education in the CNMI, the Northern Marianas College has announced that its signature event, the 17th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the East Course of the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort.
Funds raised from the tournament will be used to help fund the College’s critical expenses. These expenses include the rebuilding and expansion of NMC’s facilities as well as programmatic and other expenses that advance the College’s mission of providing affordable, high quality education to residents of the CNMI.
“Throughout the years, the NMC Golf Open has built a loyal following of golfers and supporters who are dedicated to helping the College,” said NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD. “The funds raised from the tournament will go towards supporting the College’s efforts to create more opportunities for students and help them meet their educational goals.”
The tournament fee for this year’s golf open is $120. Payments can be made at the NMC Cashier at the college’s As Terlaje campus or at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. A registration form along with information about the tournament can be found at www.marianas.edu.
There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies (Low-Gross and Low-Net). There will be a number of great prizes and awards to players and sponsors. Slots for the tournament fill up fast, so interested players are encouraged to register early.
