As part of its 25th anniversary celebration of showcasing movies on Saipan, Regal Saipan will present the digital rerelease of The Green Mile and The Mummy this Sunday, September 8, for only $1.99 a ticket. All proceeds from the screenings will be donated to the Northern Marianas College Foundation.
“We are deeply grateful to Regal Saipan for their generous support as we celebrate their 25th anniversary of showcasing movies on Saipan,” NMC Foundation Chairperson Ben Babauta said. “The donation of all proceeds to the Foundation is a testament to Regal's commitment to giving back to our community.”
In addition to the screenings, from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8, Regal Saipan guests can enjoy a specially priced $9 small popcorn and soda combo at the concession stand. Regal Crown Club members will also earn 2,500 bonus credits on each daily visit throughout September.
All local moviegoers are encouraged to attend Regal Saipan's Community Appreciation Event this weekend, which will give theater staff the opportunity to personally thank guests for reaching this historic 25-year milestone.
“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Regal Saipan for their incredible support as we celebrate their 25th anniversary of bringing movies to our community,” NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero said. “The special screenings of The Green Mile and The Mummy not only provide an opportunity for our residents to enjoy classic films at an affordable price, but also contribute to a worthy cause—the Northern Marianas College Foundation.”
