Turnkey Solutions recently donated $1,000 to the CNMI Small Business Development Center’s SEED to Sail Program (Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Development). SEED to Sail is a guided experience for start-up and early stage businesses to create and present a pitch to support their application to receive "seed money" to fund their small business venture.

The leaders of Northern Marianas College (NMC), Northern Marianas Technical Institute (NMTech), and the CNMI Public School System (PSS) are slated to deliver the State of Education Address on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 6:00 pm ChST at the World Resort Saipan Taga Hall.

Aldionne Maglanque, a Northern Marianas College nursing graduate, recently passed the challenging National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN. The 2022 graduate now joins the long list of NMC graduates who also passed the exam.

Bistro Marianas Restaurant and Bar is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive a 10% discount on any purchase. In addition, the venue fee is waived for cardholders who want to host private parties at the restaurant.

THE last day to submit applications to compete in the inaugural SEED to Sail competition will be Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m.

The University of Guam Marine Lab hosted two Northern Marianas College students the week of Aug. 15 for an internship related to ongoing research on corals from their home island chain of the Northern Mariana Islands.
