Seven student officials of the Associated Students of Northern Marianas College or ASNMC were sworn in on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Northern Marianas College. They are Bonnie Gio Sagana, president; Mary-Jo Camacho, vice president; Jinkim Abogado, secretary; Rownel “Jody” Coloma, treasurer; and Claire Barozzo, Henry San Nicolas, and Ariel Villagomez, senators.

Community members interested in pursuing higher education are invited to attend Northern Marianas College’s free information session regarding the upcoming Spring 2024 semester on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Individuals on Tinian who are interested in furthering their education and attaining a degree with the Northern Marianas College are encouraged to attend NMC’s free information sessions on November 7, November 8, and November 9, 2023.

As part of the continuing efforts to strengthen women-led businesses in the Commonwealth, the CNMI Small Business Development Center at the Northern Marianas College in collaboration with the CNMI Women’s Association recently graduated its third cohort of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Project. 

Northern Marianas College (NMC) nursing assistant graduates Lerica Primo, Karena Torres, Cindy Yang, and Antoinnette Hernaez have added their names to the growing list of successful NMC graduates who have passed the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Competency Exam, becoming certified nursing assistants (CNAs).

The U.S. Department of Agriculture - National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded the Northern Marianas College’s Natural Resource Management (NRM) Program $197,000 to build student and professional capacity in agricultural and natural resource management through upcoming Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing coursework at NMC.
